The New England Rural Health Association, the New York State Association for Rural Health, and the Foundation for Community Health invite you to a webinar on “The Impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences on Health and Wellbeing and the Importance of Providing Trauma-Informed Care.”

Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are one of the largest public health crises of our time. The short and long-term impact of exposure to ACES can be profound, and can negatively affect all facets of life.

Healthcare and social service organizations provide a vital role in supporting those who have experienced ACEs. Becoming a trauma-informed organization is essential to offering care to survivors of ACEs. There are concrete tools and skills that can be implemented to provide a safe and healing environment for the community.
