Wednesday, June 23, 2021 @ 9AM – 12PM
This workshop will present four curriculum modules for administrators, directors of nursing, and staff developers in nursing homes and assisted living facilities to use to deliver quality care and create a culture of inclusion for LGBT residents. A train-the-trainer model will be used and participants will receive the tools they need to follow best practices for providing the highest level of care for LGBT residents. The workshop is sponsored by SAGE-RI, partnering with RIHCA, Leading Age, and RIALA, and supported by an Equity Action.
