Healthcentric Advisors is pleased to announce the launch of a new free online course designed to help nursing home staff build confidence and competency when caring for residents living with Serious Mental Illness (SMI).
Caring for individuals with SMI requires a unique set of skills rooted in empathy, understanding, and evidence-based practice. This interactive learning experience equips staff with practical tools they can apply immediately in their day-to-day work.
After completing the course, participants will be able to:
- Identify signs and symptoms of mental health disorders
- Apply effective strategies to support people living with Serious Mental Illness
The course is free and open to all nursing home professionals. No CEUs are available at this time.
