Board of Directors and Governance Advisory Council

The Board of Directors is the governing body of Healthcentric Advisors. It establishes the overall mission and strategic direction for the organization and provides fiduciary oversight of its finances and performance. Members of the Board represent consumers, healthcare providers, and the business, civic, and academic communities. They serve voluntarily and without compensation.

President & Chief Executive Officer

John Keimig is an accomplished health care industry executive with over 35 years’ experience providing effective leadership and strategic direction for both institutional and consultancy organizations.

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Healthcentric Advisors, John Keimig is responsible for leading the organization’s work on a diverse range of significant and complex federal, state and private contracts, research projects, and engagements focused on hospital and nursing home quality, patient safety, outcomes measurement, digital health information technology and population health management.

Previous experience in hospital and health system leadership includes 16 years as President and Chief Executive Officer of a regional healthcare system.

A regular lecturer on patient safety and healthcare quality improvement issues, Mr. Keimig has served on many national and regional boards and commissions. Board Certified in Healthcare Management by the American College of Healthcare Executives, he is a Certified Professional in Patient Safety. Mr Keimig is the recipient of the ACHE’s Regent’s Award and the Distinguished Alumni Service Award from the Xavier University Graduate Program in Health Services Administration.

Susan Amelotte, BS

Chief Financial Officer

Susan Amelotte, BS, is the Chief Financial Officer at Healthcentric Advisors. In her position, Ms. Amelotte is responsible for the general financial operations of the organization and the New England QIN-QIO contract, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, budgeting and cash management in a contract-based environment. Ms. Amelotte is responsible for preparing all financial statements and cost/operating reports. She works with management to help them understand this information and best utilize it to manage their projects/contracts. Ms. Amelotte also works with the Finance Committee of the Board to keep them informed about the financial position of the organization.

Kara Butler, MBA, MHSA

Director, Administrative Services & CHRO

Kara Butler, MBA, MHSA is Director of Administrative Services. In her position, Ms. Butler manages all aspects of Human Resources for the organization’s three offices. Additionally, she oversees the communications, information technology services and contracts administration and compliance departments. She has over 16 years of experience in healthcare and academic settings serving in a variety of roles supporting operations, quality improvement, communications, strategic planning, board development and human resources.
