The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has launched the Quality Innovation Network–Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) Program 13th Statement of Work (SOW), an exciting opportunity to create meaningful, sustainable improvements in healthcare through collaboration.

We are proud to introduce the Mid-Atlantic CMS QIN-QIO, led by IPRO with Healthcentric Advisors and Qlarant. Together, we will support select hospitals, nursing homes, and physician offices across Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.

United by Shared Goals, Driven by Impact

This new phase of the QIN-QIO program is a five-year initiative that is grounded in the power of collaboration to improve healthcare quality and outcomes. Through coordinated efforts, data-driven insights, and structured quality improvement using evidence-based interventions, we will:

  • Promote disease prevention and chronic condition management
  • Improve access to and quality of behavioral health care
  • Reduce all-cause harm, including adverse drug events and healthcare-associated infections
  • Enhance care coordination and reduce avoidable hospital utilization
  • Strengthen quality management infrastructure, including emergency preparedness and workforce development
  • Maximize the use of health information technology (health IT)
